Learn how to represent yourself at a court hearing making a good impression on the judge just be following a few simple rules.
There are alot of people out here representing themselves inside the courtroom.
A “ pro se litigant” is a person who is involved in a litigation but not represented by an attorney.
In addition, if you don’t understand the “pro se litigant”, court staff are able to help you understand how pro se litigant works. For an example , the court staff can answer your follow questions about how the court works and /or explain what the legal terms mean. Also, the court staff can give you information from your case file and provide you with court forms and even sample documents. However, court staff are not allowed to tell you about “pro se litigant” what to do. The court staff can’t provide legal advice or provide research, or tell you what to request from the judge or court.
Remember, as a pro se litigant you must follow the same rules and laws that attorneys follow. The judge can however provide you limited help.
